Burro Days!
An annual event in Fairplay, Colorado since 1949, Burro Days celebrates the role of the burro in mining days of old.
ver 10,000 people participate in festivities such as: burro races, llama races, kiddies pack dog races, gold panning, a parade, outhouse races, over 145 arts, craft and food booths, local musical entertainment, BBQ & barn dance, pancake breakfast, Cowboy Church services and more!
Burro Days merchandise is available for purchase at the Burro Information Booth at the corner of 5th and Main Streets during the event weekend.
